I'm So Glad You're Here

Hi! I'm Jessica Lempin, the artist and maker behind Coastal Coasters.

What started as a creative passion has grown into a business I truly love—creating handcrafted resin coasters, charcuterie boards, serving pieces, and coastal-inspired home décor that bring a little piece of the ocean into everyday life.

Every item is individually handcrafted in my Long Island studio using quality materials, careful attention to detail, and yes... a whole lot of patience! No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and I think that's part of what makes handmade so special.

I've always found peace near the water. Whether it's watching the waves roll in, collecting shells along the shoreline, or simply breathing in the salty air, the coast has a way of making everything feel a little calmer. That feeling is what inspires every piece I create.

My hope is that when one of my creations finds its way into your home, it brings back memories of your favorite beach, your happiest vacation, or simply gives you a daily reminder of the place where you feel most at peace.

More Than 30,000 Handmade Coasters... and Counting

When I created my first coaster set back in 2020, I never imagined where this creative journey would lead.

Today, I've personally created more than 30,000 coasters, each one poured, finished, inspected, and packaged by hand.

That number still amazes me.

What began as a creative outlet has grown into a nationally recognized handmade brand, with Coastal Coasters finding homes in living rooms, beach houses, boutiques, gift shops, and galleries across the United States.

Every order—whether it's a single coaster set or a large wholesale collection—is made with the same attention to detail and pride that inspired the very first piece.

Inspired by the Coast

I grew up on Long Island, New York, where just about every weekend was spent on our boat in the Great South Bay. Some of my favorite memories are being out on the water—fishing, feeling the sun on my face, listening to the waves, and taking in the sights and sounds that have always felt like home.

That lifelong connection to the water naturally found its way into my artwork. I love working with resin because, much like the ocean itself, it's beautifully unpredictable. Every pour flows a little differently, making each piece completely one of a kind. That's what I love most about creating functional abstract art—no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

I create artwork that I'd proudly use in my own home, blending beauty with everyday function. From handcrafted resin coasters and ocean-inspired charcuterie boards to serving trays and coastal home décor, each piece is thoughtfully designed to bring a little of the coast into your everyday life.
